New England at Denver
Pittsburgh at Indy
Carolina at Chicago
Washington at Seattle
We have all week to discuss and disect the teams. But here are my early picks:
New England
Indy
Seattle
Carolina
I'm not real sure on the NFC games because none of them are real big threats on offense except for maybe Seattle. Now, if things go right the AFC will win the superbowl because this year they just seem to be the most dominent on both sides of the ball.

Seattle
The only one I'm not sure about is the Seattle/Washington game.

Except MAYBE seattle?
They have averaged the most points per game this season, and the second most yards per game as an offense. I thin that you can get them more than a 'maybe' having a big threat offense.
Idk. I obviously follow them, you dont.
I got with:
Indy
Chicago
Seattle
Havent decided between Denver and NE yet. Ill get back on that one.

Yeah, I don't follow the Hawks that closely. Normaly if I have a choice I watch the AFC games and only look at NFC scores. I don't doubt that Seattle is tough it's just that the NFC looks weak compared to the AFC this year.
The past 2 years the NFC has at least looked tougher that the AFC but not this year. Just my opinion though.

I would say in general the AFC is MUCH stronger. Jax was the only team going into the playoffs that really had no shot at making it from the AFC.
I would however say that from the NFC the top two teams (Chicago, and Seattle) are very good. Better than most AFC teams in the playoffs.
Whichever team makes it, seattle or chicago, I would say has a really good shot at winning.

Seattle You really think both top two AFC teams will lose? I guess you can be blinded by the heart. Anyway, I'm gonna go with all four home teams winning. woohoo!
Denver
Indy
Carolina
Seattle
Going with the homers except at Chicago, because Carolina seems blazing hot.
Of course, that could just be how bad the Giants suck.

Bill Belichick since 2001- 14-0 in his 2nd games when he faces the same quarterback twice in one season.

Steelers- Because I think 3 1/2 weeks without playing is gonna make the Colts a little too rested.
Denver- Because I don't buy into the 'NE is back' shindig
Seattle- Because Washington won't be able to slow the 'hawks offense as well as they did Tampa's
Chicago- Because I doubt Carolina will get more than 250 yards offense, and I suspect Chicago is gonna have an explosive offense in this game...and yes I said Chicago and explosive offense in the same sentence. Ok well maybe not explosive...but they will score more than 20 points! Possibly...Oh and not to mention Chicago D > Carolina D.

So who you backing in the AFC now Makybe? Steelers.
1. I always liked Jerome Bettis and
2. It feels a lot better to say you got beat by the superbowl champions on their way there.
