be considered a B-? I always think a C+ is half of the way in between C and B.
So it would be C(1/4 )C+(2/4 )B-(C++) B

Grade wise. What is a C++? I think it's a B-

I think that C+ would be half way between C and B-.
And that C++ would be half way between C+ and B-, so no number of +'s could equal a B-.
That makes the most sense to me, because any calibur of B should outrank any calibur of C.

c+ is within 10% of the interval that C encompasses of B, not halfway.
Otherwise, I agree with TODO

If a C is 70-80, then that is 10 points, so 1 point is ten percent of the interval C encompasses. A c+ would be within that, 1 point, of B.

If a C is 70-80, then that is 10 points, so 1 point is ten percent of the interval C encompasses. A c+ would be within that, 1 point, of B.I see where you're going with that. (70-79 would be ten points)
So a 79% would be a C+ and a 79.9% would be a C++ and a 79.99% would be a C+++, correct?
So then we could call 79.0% a C+- and a 79.09% a a C+-+. I'm liking this system.

All of what you just said is correct.
