Drove the 120 miles up to mom's place to give her her new laptop & set it up, early Xmas present ... a few blurry pics taken from a moving truck during the foggy drive:

Hood Canal Bridge ... south of the bridge (right in the photo) is a 75-mile long inland sea ... 6-7 miles south of the bridge is the West Coast base for Trident missile subs: Bangor Naval Station & Undersea Weapons Range.

South in the canal, pretty foggy day ... sub base is near the second point on the left.

The ever-exciting Chimacum Valley, about 20 miles from home, our high-school football rival, although they were a smaller B school

Down the hill toward home, the bay is on the right, the main marina in the middle-left.

I should take some pics around here . . . of course it would be nothing but "here's a picture of fields and sky . . . " "more fields and sky . . . " "there might be a cow in this one . . . "

Sorry I couldn't get a missile sub in the pic, but it's been a helluva long time since I had to wait at the bridge for one to get through ... and it's only cool the first time, then it's just annoying because you have to sit there and wait for them to close the bridge.
