So I live in a workin class neighbourhood in a place called Lucan. Lucan is mainly very posh and then there is my neighbourhood. The one workin class neighbourhood here. So we have to cope with being reffered to by the rest of Lucan as...."the bad area" the one they walk for 30 minutes around rather than 5 minutes threw. But what we do have is...the park. Now I live right beside the park and it use to be lovely. Until the council decieded to for no reason what so ever wreck it. They put another path threw it even thou there was one already made from rocks so if a child falls on the rocks they will most deffently die or some shit. To make this path they ahd to tear up alot of trees and grass and pretty flowers. They took the wooden benchs out and replaced them with overly expensive marble benchs....marble is cool for like sculptures not so good to sit on...really cold! The fields I use to play in as a kid are now rows of "sell your soul to afford" houses with rows of "Sold our souls to afford" people who ring the garda if you sit in the park with a radio and a few can during the Summer and the this morning I was awoken by the sounds of a JCB digging a hole in the ground at the park entrance for no apparant reason except to wreck it and leave big black marks all over the road and grass when its gone

They did that outside my house too, except it looks a lot nicer now because they planted like 100 different plant species or something. They fenced off the little wooded bit where I used to play though , but since I'm too old to play in the trees I don't care that much.

I wouldn't complain if they were makin the place look better but they are just wreckin it. They chopped down all the trees that you use to be in spaced out along the paths beside my houses as well last year its like...not enough people knew it was a council estate as it is.
