That's awesome, but I'd put some rubber covering under the legs. Better grip and to get rid of the annoying clunking sound while walking.
Goes pretty fast straight forward too.

Things like this make me sometimes regret not going into math/physics/engieering, because building something like that would be so friggin cool.

The guy looked like he was having trouble just getting it to walk for more than a couple yards. It probably has the potiential to do stuff like climb stairs, but not on a $1500 budget.

Engineers have been pissing me off lately. Two of the guys in my Entrepreneurship group this semester were engineers and they absolutely refused to listen to me when it came to business matters. Drove me crazy.

Good call. Half a dozen came to mind.

Spider-thing is pretty cool. If I were gonna be a total geek and build something novelty, I'd at least pick something that has a chance of getting me some tail.
