Okay, first of all...the whole Jumping Into the Theater Screen and into the movie, is so done it's not even cool to see anymore.

So, when I see two guys playing a game and then one of the soldiers turning and tapping on the screen, talking to them about joining the Army....is just fucking annoying.

Not saying anything about the impossibilities of it all, but it's just fucking stupid. Like anyone would see that and then run to their nearest recruiter's office.

"Holy shit, my Socom character talked to me and told me that the Army was the real challenge...I better run and join up right away!"


It's just....annoying. Like all those Marine commericals you see about the guy climbing a cliff and then getting zapped by lightning and morphing into a Marine. That's just dumb.


I'm not saying anything about any Service Members that may post here. I mean, if you served your time, that's awsome. Some of you guys have done and seen things I can only imagine, and I have all the respect in the world for you guys.

But, why can't they just come right out and say "We're the Armed Forces, you get this for joining up, come on down if your interested."

Why all the lame theatrics?

I actually don’t mind the lame theatrics, its when a recruitment officer that hounded me for months shows up unannounced at my house, at my job, and at my school, that’s when it goes to far.

I use to love getting recruiter phone calls. The guys they put on the phone to call the women had really sexy voices

Seriously though I was on the phone with one guy for 30ish minutes when my mom asked who it was and hung up on him I totally would have met him for further information had she not done that

Yeah, but....Socom characters talking to you through the screen? They can do a little better than that. I mean, you know who they're targeting right off the bat.

Advertising has always been annoying. I just saw they added in screens to bombard you with advertisements while waiting in line at the checkout at Albertsons. It makes my blood boil.
