Goddamn, Tennessee is so damn podunk. It's amazing how young the kids get their back ass country hick accent. I saw like a three year old talking like a seasoned redneck. And some dude pulled up next to us in a shitbox Caprice and belted his horn to.. yep.. you guessed it.. the same one in the Dukes of Hazzard. If you know the song's name, you're a redneck.

I mean.. I never had any illusion that TN was anything sophisticated. I've been there several times. But this time we ventured out away from the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area (which I fucking HATE Pigeon Forge, but my fiancee's parent's live right outside it) and it became less touristy and more actual residents.

God damn Florida is hot. I mean, it gets up in the high 90's, sometimes the 100's. And the high humidity! Dear god! I can't believe a part of land surrounded on three sides by water would be this humid!

Nashville is the only place in TN I have been where the people do not develop southern accents. I have lived here all my life and very few of my friends have even a slight southern accent.

When I worked at Best Buy in Springfield, MO you could spot the people from Arkansas. I know Little Rock is suppose to be nice, but the people that would come up to customer service all seemed to be wearing overalls, boots, or smell like some sort of body odor/shit.
